Some things over the summer, don't really warrant a whole write up but they are good memories. I figured I'd post a few favorites from summer 2010:

Getting to continue playing in the lake long after your shorts are totally soaked.

Family reunions are fun, Cousin's are fun, but the real fun begins when the shirts come off!

Betsy enjoyed very much being able to poke her new baby cousin Nellie.

While packing up our camping gear at Lake Chelan, father and daughter enjoy some light refreshment on a nearby picnic table.

Face painting, free, fun and great to smudge your pillow with that night. As if our summer sheets aren't already filthy enough!

Joe turned 34 and he's excited. This gift was from Tess and I believe it was a can of tuna from her pet, "Squilly."

It wasn't all Tuna though, the kids got Joe a snow cone machine and consequently enjoyed it's spoils.

We visited Joe and my Alma Mater, BYU. We ate at the Cannon Center Cafeteria with the kids. Tess was SKEPTICAL about the "Frog Eye Salad," but tried it anyway.

At the Ellsworth reunion in Eden Utah, Betsy and Cousin Jeb were able to ferret some candy away and then go sit overlooking the forbidden creek and eat the contraband.

A great time was had by all when The Sharps dropped by for a few days clear from North Carolina! The girls were happy to be reunited . . .

And it was like the boys had never been apart.

We enjoyed all kinds of get togethers with friends, including dress-up type play dates,

and sports camp.

As the fall come on we spent quality time raiding the Halloween shelves. Betsy desperately wants longer hair.

I turned 32, what could I do but eat away the pain with a chocolate peanut butter ice cream cake.

During the Smith reunion, Joe let Gunner have full control of the camera. He came up with this little beauty. Way to go Gunner!

At the same reunion all the males decided to grow lots of facial hair for the family picture. When the picture was done Joe decided to cut his off in stages. What should we call this stage; Peeping-Tom or Una-Bomber on a Cloudy Day?

At the aforementioned reunion we got to surprise the Pingels on their anniversary. The flowers are compliments of a homeless person in need of bus fare and willing to trade and this particular voodoo donut had nothing to do with bodily functions or private parts. It was quite difficult to find.

While on a visit to BYU the girls were able to answer the age-old question all Coeds have asked at some point, "What
is under the Indian's lion cloth?"

At Lake Chelan, I manned up and leaped off one of the dock supports. Look at those Bingo wings flap! No, I didn't land on the boat.

We close the summer with filthy feet,

filthy faces,

and lots of good memories.
