Flulaween

This is late, very late, so late it almost seems appropriate. It also coincides quite nicely with a current flu epidemic at church. Since the blog is for posterity I try to get the good stuff in, even if it is late. Enjoy . . .

Han, Anikan, Leia and Yoda have never looked foxier.

We had a good Halloween. Joe managed his stomach flu quite nicely so that it began after his debut performance as Han Solo at the Ward Trunk or Treat and then finished up just in time for real door to door trick or treating the next night. Actually he is just really tough and smiled through the pain.

As you can see both Star Wars and Disney royalty came to the trunk or treat and our neighbors were wowed by the stunt stylings of Darth Maul and his lighted blade the next evening.

Three days before Halloween, again, after the kids and I had finished our flu and before Joe had begun we managed a quick trip to the pumpkin patch where we always get our family picture. We actually got several good ones but thought this went best with the actual spirit of the Ellsworth family.
